Mike Tibs posting
I'm finding it hard to understand the definition for semiology. It states that, "all meaningful sounds behave like linguistic signs?" Am I the only one who is having troubles with making sense of Saussure? Any feed back on the readings or the posting from Michael Morse?

Semiology= the study of signs.
(and more broadly, the study of linguistic structure; the study of how meaning is made)
Sometimes it is called "semiotics".
Hope this helps!
