the medium

After our last tutorial, I found it interesting when we were talking about the advertisements that we are subjected to on a daily basis. Whether it be through radio, billboards, television, or magazine/newspaper. The messages that are presented and the audiences that can use these messages as learning tools to develop there ideas of how they feel our societies operate. I find that the advertisements, not all, try to create a fine line between reality and fiction.

Now, I see media as manipulatian. Obviously, people- including myself- aren't smart enough to reject the rhetoric used by large companies to make a society of consumers.
